The Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County is an innovative collaboration of social service, medical, criminal justice, and civil legal providers whose expertise offers victims of domestic violence and their families multiple options to restore their lives. The Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County opened in late February 2007. Volunteers are an integral component of our mission and interested community members and students are invited to play with children, answer phones, and welcome guests.
The Family Justice Center of St. Joseph County is one of 15 original sites nationwide chosen by the federal government to bring together resources for victims of domestic violence and their children to one location, thereby improving access to those services already provided by the community. The Family Justice Center serves as a "one stop shop" for victims of domestic violence and their children.
