The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) of Elkhart and St. Joseph Counties, part of the Corporation for National and Community Service and sponsored locally by Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Fort Wayne - South Bend, has the dual purpose of engaging persons 55 and older in volunteer service to meet critical community needs; and to provide a high quality experience that will enrich the lives of volunteers.
RSVP provides volunteer placement for seniors (55 and over) in non-profit agencies within St. Joseph County.

Volunteer services include mailing assistance, special event assistance, reading for the pring impaired, mentoring youth-at-risk, assisting with disaster preparedness to list a few.
