Thank You to Everyone for a Successful Make a Difference Day 2010!
Make a Difference Michiana would like to extend our thanks and appreciation to the entire Michiana community for supporting this year's Make a Difference Day on Friday, October 1 and Saturday, October 2! This year's event had over 11 volunteer sites, over 130 local volunteers, and several generous sponsors including RE/MAX, Federated Media, May Oberfell Lorber, Shamrock Development, Kruggel Lawton CPA, and Street Kids Care.
In the coming weeks, we will be sharing pictures and stories from the volunteer sites to show the impact of the great volunteer work being done in the community! We hope that it will inspire others to volunteer and continue to support the nonprofits in their mission to serve the people of the community throughout the entire year.
Again, many, many thanks to everyone! We look forward to next year's Make a Difference Day and let the spirt of Make a Difference Day continue in the every day volunteer work you do!
